Founder Robey C. Best Jr. started AmeriSouth Mortgage Company in March 1990 after leaving BarclaysAmerican Financial, a subsidiary of Barclays Bank, PLC. His twenty-four year tenure with BarclaysAmerican provided the knowledge and skill for building AmeriSouth into a leading mortgage banking company in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The success of AmeriSouth is attributed to the hiring and development of key employees among the marketing group and staff. Employee orientation has been the key, which has provided collective leadership for company operations.
A company model was developed with a great knowledge of skill and expertise for building a full-service lender. The company provides virtually every program to serve all communities.
